In many business areas contracts are agreed between parties that document deliverables at a number of working or business days from contract signature. Yes, Excel can be used to exclude weekends and public holidays, but this app has been specifically designed to allow a quick calculation, for example during a business meeting.

Working days calculator allows you to exclude weekends and public holidays when trying to work out how many work or business days there are, across three key scenarios:

• How many working days are there between two dates?
• How many working days are there, say 40 days from a starting date?
• Working backwards, enter the end date, and then the number of working days before that date, to calculate the starting date

Other settings options

You can also:

• Set Saturday and /or Sundays as working days
• Input your own personal holiday dates as non working days

Country based pubic holiday settings

The app was designed for the UK market initially but also now includes options to allow USA and Ireland.

As different region of the UK have differing public holiday dates, the calculator can be set to use these countries public holidays in the calculation (i.e. to count them as non working days)
